Yoni Alter

Yoni Alter is a multimedia artist exploring the threshold between art and design. His vibrantly colored works segue between the figurative, the abstract, form, and space, always challenging viewers to look twice. Guided by experimentation and semiotics, Yoni passionately seeks new ways of creating visual representations, working across sculpture, painting, print, and digital media.
Yoni completed his MA Graphic Design at London College of Communication. His artwork is behind a best-selling merchandise range for Tate, his well-known "Shapes of Cities" series, and he created the art for the breakthrough branding of the Evening Standard's new "London Live" TV Channel. Yoni also designs graphic works for iconic brands, with past collaborations including projects with Karl Lagerfeld and Hermés. He is also behind a best-selling merchandise range for Tate. You may have seen his work covering double-decker buses; on a 25m long banner in Shoreditch, on a 25m tall LED tree in Wembley or his outdoor installations in Canary Wharf. His art was part of the acclaimed 100 Years of Graphic Design exhibition. Press features include The Guardian, Phaidon, Campaign, The Atlantic, and My Modern Met, to name a few.
Clients include: Air France, Coca Cola, Douglas Elliman, Estée Lauder, The Guardian, Hermes, John Lewis, Karl Lagerfeld, London Live, Microsoft, MoMA Design Store, NYC Marathon, Okaidi, SNCF, Tate, Tumblr, Village Voice, and WeTransfer.
